Here are some of the questions that I’m often asked.
If you don’t see your answer here, please send me an email at dana@danacaldera.com.
How do I buy your artwork?
I am not currently represented so I sell my artwork directly from the studio. If you are interested in seeing my available work, please contact me for a link to my available work catalog. I sometimes sell smaller works and share updates through my instagram.
Can I pick up my artwork from your studio?
Absolutely! Select ‘Local Pick Up’ for your shipping at checkout (available for Texas addresses) and I will email you to set up a time. If you’re not local, but will be traveling and want to come by, email me at dana@danacaldera.com to set up a pick up time and receive a code to waive shipping online.
Do you do commissions?
I do! Visit this page to learn more and request a custom commission.
Do you offer payment plans or layaway?
I am willing to do this, especially for large work. Each plan is custom, so email me at dana@danacaldera.com to set it up.
Do you offer designer discounts?
Yes, I do! Please email me at dana@danacaldera.com to discuss.
Who actually owns the artwork?
TLDR: You own the artwork and I own the copyright.
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has purchased the full or partial copyright of the artwork. To discuss purchasing copyrights, contact me. The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. If the artwork ends up being reproduced as part of a press feature in a magazine or other media, I ask for credit and contact information to be included. When you purchase an original painting you have the right to display the artwork in your home or business, but the artwork may not be reproduced without my written permission.
Press
I work with bloggers, editors, stylists, and writers. There are many images on my site that you are free to use for your article. Please credit both me & my photographers. If you have any questions, please email me at dana@danacaldera.com I am always open to interviews and enjoy talking about art making, creativity, and life/business as an artist. I’ve never been on a podcast and that’s something I’d love to try, so if you have one–email me!
Stockists and Galleries
Shop owners, most of my work is original, however I do have some prints and products that can be ordered for wholesale. Some of my small original artwork, like the found paper studies, might be right for ordering in bulk and selling as originals. If this interests you, please email me at dana@danacaldera.com
Gallery owners, I am not currently represented and I am currently seeking representation. Please email me at dana@danacaldera.com
